Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who has left a mark across the screens. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. In the next few years, she moved to Texas in search of a physical therapy career within the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on diverse roles on local independent films as well as global commercials. Despite her small roles, she discovered her passion in acting. After moving into New York and in 2001 she landed her first part on the daytime soap opera All My Children as Rosa Santos. Throughout the first decade of 2000, she played minor roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her first major series appearance was in the 2004 short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano, alongside a number of top TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Pilegge. Her role most well-known for is the A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. She was a part of 85 episodes. The character she played on her Law & Order: LA spinoff was a short-lived. This character was a hit and earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she was awarded the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time after. The role was Marisol Delko, who is the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. On NBC's dark and dramatic drama Do No Harm she played the character of Dr. Lena Solis. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC following only two episodes. Milano. The younger twin brother Cory is 10 years older than her. Milano was born into the strictest and most religious family. Milano started her acting career at the age of seven years old after her babysitter accompanied her in an audition. She was one of the four girls selected out of thousands of hopefuls. Milano appeared on the television in commercials, and off Broadway productions including a musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
